Who We Are

NorCap China Internships was founded by graduates of top US universities who live and work in Beijing. NorCap also includes a prominent advisory board and draws on their expertise and personal experience in a wide array of interesting fields. For more about us, check out Our Team.

Company Founding

NorCap’s founders Max Klein and Bailey Carroll have lived, studied, and worked in Beijing since 2007. The company was founded as a natural outgrowth of Max’s close cooperation with Cornell University’s China and Asia-Pacific Studies (CAPS) program as Beijing Internship Coordinator, where he helped CAPS students studying at Peking University get set up with internships in consulting, government affairs, non-profit, international relations, journalism, and art (to name a few). We are passionate about expanding your perspective and helping grow your career in Beijing, and are eager to share our on-the-ground knowledge with those students and grads with their eye on China.
